My name is Matteo Tedesco and I am active as a piano tuner / technician based in Fuchu. I have a mixed Dutch and Italian background and I serve both Japanese and international customers in the Tokyo area. These services include tuning, regulation, voicing, repairs and appraisals of upright and grand pianos.

In Amsterdam, the Netherlands, I have finished a formal three-year piano technician study and followed trainings and internships, including a six months internship at the Steinway center. After that have been working full time as a freelance piano technician and employee in piano ateliers.

After being drawn to Japan’s rich culture and vibrant music scene, and I moved here in January 2025. The languages I can communicate in are Dutch, English, Italian, and beginner-level Japanese.
